FRIDAY 18TH JUNE - 3PM SHARP - STEP FARM  SEE THE COWS BEING MILKED!

Recently built, Step Farm now has a state-of-the-art milking parlour with energy efficiency heat recovery technology and other eco-credentials. Important to be there on time. No need to book.

Step Farm was the first large farm in UK certified as organic - in 1982. It is part owned by National Trust, and was one of the original Yeo Valley partners - together with Home Farm at Highgrove (Prince Charles).

There is a Dairy herd of Pedigree and Organic Friesians, calves and beef.

Walk or cycle down to Step Farm for 3pm and you’ll not only see the cows being milked, but you’ll also get a guided tour around the milking Parlour - which even has its own viewing platform for visitors!
